Video Insight prides itself on having world class technical support. We know that when it comes to support long wait times are not an option, which is why we offer a one-hour callback guarantee. If you call during our regular business hours, we guarantee that we will call you back within one hour. We may not solve your problem in that time period, but you will hear from us. Our regular business hours are from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm Central Time, Monday through Friday, excluding major holidays. And to show you that we are serious, if you don't hear from us within one hour, we will give you a $100 credit towards your next order.

Software Updates

In addition to telephone support, we are continually improving the features and functions of the Video Insight software. The first year of software updates is included with your purchase. System Requirements

Minimum specifications depend on the number of simultaneous live images displayed. VI Monitor receives compressed data and uses the local CPU to decompress and display. When viewing a single image almost any Windows based PC will work. As the number of cameras or resolution increases, so do the systems requirements. If the workstation is capable, the Server will send all requested images to VI Monitor, but if the local system is not capable of decompressing the images, the Server will automatically adjust the FPS to a lower rate.

  • Windows OS - 32 or 64-bit versions of Win 7, Win 8, 2008 R2, 2012
  • Memory - Monitor Station will use 150MB - 400MB depending on number of cameras displayed
  • Video Card - 256MB or greater with support for Direct X version 5, 7, 9, 11, or 3D
  • CPU - VI Monitor can use both Intel and AMD processors, but will take advantage of Intel's IPP embedded code to improve decoding performance.
